We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Business Development Consultant to join our growing sales team. You will be the clients first step on the Resi journey, responsible for discussing development projects with potential clients, understanding their requirements for home improvement, providing quotes, and guiding clients throughout their journey. Our client base covers the whole of the UK with a variety of potential projects - ranging from internal renovations to larger extensions and even new build developments!

In creating our step by step service, we’ve brought simplicity and great affordable design to the nation. This way, every homeowner in the UK can benefit from an architect’s expertise. This is not a remote role, we are currently 85 people based in International House right at the heart of Brixton, South London. International House is the UK’s first Living Wage Building. Our office is both accessible and we are willing to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate successful candidates.
Our current Business Development Consultants are excellent communicators, who have superior people skills and a passion for problem solving. We are a team of individuals who drive to make Resi the go-to architectural practice in the UK - everything from our initial consultation calls through to our final stage follow ups is driven by our clients experience and user journey. As a prospective member of our team, you must have a hunger for building genuine rapport with clients in order to determine their motivations and needs, present our services, and overcome objections.
Perform consultation calls with potential customers for Resi services
Generate quotes and arrange follow ups with prospective customers to guide them through the process
Consciously look to develop new business opportunities with our existing customer base
Maintain a high standard of service at all times, whilst achieving monthly revenue quotas
Accurately capture relevant information from the customer
Manage handover of customer to Resi operations team to deliver service
Tracking of enquiries and opportunities

Can build and develop relationships with clients, regardless of their location or circumstance

Have the ability to communicate the Resi vision and brand successfully to our customers
Are self sufficient and target driven
Are passionate about technology innovation and keen to embrace new ideas.
Previous knowledge or experience working within the property, architecture, or construction sectors would be beneficial but not essential
Understands the lifecycle of house/extension build project - maybe you have renovated your own home?
