Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Consultant to generate sales of Resi services. You will be responsible for contacting prospects, understanding their requirements for home improvement, providing some design consultation and closing sales deals over the phone.

 

A Resi Business Development Consultant must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills. 

They must be comfortable in rapidly developing a rapport with the prospect to determine their motivations and needs, manage their expectations, presenting our services and overcoming objections to close the sale over the phone.


Their objective is to help the company grow by bringing in customers, developing new business and exceed their sales quota.


Responsibilities 


  • To achieve monthly sales quota

  • Perform design consultation calls with potential customers for Resi services

  • Generate quotes and follow up with prospects to close sales

  • Call existing customers to upsell complimentary Resi services

  • Accurately capture relevant information from the customer.

  • Manage handover of customer to Resi operations team to deliver service 

  • Tracking of prospects and opportunities 

  • Manage the sales process in Resi CRM platform  


Requirements


  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone

  • Clear communicator and ability to build rapport

  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems

  • Ability to learn about Resi services and describe them to prospects

  • Targets and results driven - we want to change the industry tomorrow!

  • Picks things up quickly and is keen to embrace new technology solutions


Desirable


  • Architecture or construction industry experience

  • Understands the lifecycle of house/extension build project - maybe you have renovated your own home?

You’ll help answer and simplify the questions that homeowners might have before they commission us to help them through one of the biggest decisions that they can make.
